Our Policies

CONDUCT

  • We are so confident in our ALL of our services that we guarantee them! If for any reason you are not satisfied, please contact us within 48 hours of the appointment and we will send someone out as soon as possible to re-do any of the areas missed free of charge if LIM was in fault.

 

  • Life is Maid will always remain courteous. We will not eat, use profanity, watch TV, use the computer or any other property for personal reasons while servicing clients unless it pertains to the services being paid for.

 

  • Should any member of your household require the use of syringes, please ensure that they are disposed of safely. Any secure container like a coffee can be used to store used syringes and/or needles prior to final trash disposal. Any unexpected stab by an insecure needle can pose serious health concerns to our staff.

 

  • We love pets, we have family members that are pets…. However, please crate your pets in any way for our safety. We are not responsible for any injuries your pets could cause to our maids so please prevent this from possibly happening to one of our staff members.

 

  • We value the privacy of our clients. We will not discuss our clients, your homes, belongings, or private matters with anyone. However, please be sure that any confidential documents or substances are put away before the maid(s) arrives.

 

  • You will be required to sign a Service Contract at your first session. This outlines our policies and payment information. Attached is a copy for your review. Please contact us if you have any questions.  The maid will bring a copy of this contract to your first session.

 

  • Our prices generally start at $40 per hour for our services. A minimum of an hour is required for most concierge services. A minimum of 2 hours is required for most cleaning and organizing services.  Exceptions may be made for some services.

 

  • Services completed on holidays are at an increased rate.

Definition of Billable Time

Billable time includes hands-on organizing, cleaning, driving, planning, research, communication, and shopping services.

Life Is Maid Rates

Rates are billed in 30-minutes increments.

1 Maid---------$60/ hr.

2-3 Maids-------$75/hr.

4-6 Maids------$90/hr.

 

  • Payment for services and materials is expected as soon as services are completed. An invoice/receipt will be provided for the client within 24 hours.

 

  • Any materials purchased are reimbursed at cost/subject to a 3% service fee.

 

  • Payment must be made by cash, check, debit card, PayPal or Cashapp.  Any returned checks/payments will result in a $30 service charge. Any services that go unpaid will result in a $30 service charge. For PayPal and cash app a 2% fee applies. NO EXCEPTIONS.

 

  • We are currently accepting residential and commercial jobs and jobs with recurring assignments.

 

  • If you are unable to provide parking, we will charge for garage parking fees.

 

  • We hold all client communications and information, both verbal and written, in the strictest of confidence. We have a Confidentiality Agreement.

 

 CANCELLATIONS

  • Cancellations by the client are going to happen. We ask that you try to give us at least 24 hours before your appointment to cancel. NO CANCELLATION FEE will be applied unless a customer does not contact us at all to cancel. Effectively, a no call- no show or if we are unable to gain access to client's residence or business to complete service request- a fee of $40.
     

  • If Life is Maid must cancel or reschedule the appointment for some reason, they will make every effort to give the client the maximum possible notice and to reschedule to the client’s convenience.

CLEANING SERVICE POLICIES

For one-time customers or First appointment ONLY deep cleaning services are offered.

 

 

ORGANIZING SERVICE POLICIES

  • We will take up to a carload of donations to a nearby charity at the end of each session at no extra charge.
     

  • If you prefer a specific charity or the donation location is out of the way, we will charge travel time at our regular hourly rate.
     

  • DEEP CLEANING SERVICES ONLY with any organizing project for an additional $15/hour.
     

  • Deep cleaning VS Organizing form must be acknowledged and initialed before services can start.
     

  • Homework/assignments for the customer will be completed in a timely manner to keep the organizing project running smoothly.

CONCIERGE  POLICIES

  • We charge a standard flat rate fee for our clients regardless of the errand.  Our hourly rate is $40.00.
     

  • This is always priced with a one-hour minimum and additional time calculated in 30-minute increments.
     

  • A fee equivalent to one hour will serve as a deposit. Remaining fees are due and payable upon conclusion of service.
     

  • Hourly charges start from the time we arrive at the client’s residence.
     

  • Travel time is charged after 30 miles of travel, we charge .58 per mile.
     

  • We reserve the right to refuse service requests deemed questionable.
     

  • Specials and discounts only applied if asked for and cannot be combined with any other discounted prices.
